Fall is Here

The weather is getting cooler and the leaves are falling. Gavin and I collected some of the leaves from out front yard tree and decorated the inside of the house with leaves.

(The M&Ms in the background are purely for eating, but make a nice decor)

Halloween

Halloween has come to our house and deposited decorations all over. Overkill much?

10 Years Ago

Ten years ago we were blessed with a baby.....

Five years ago we got to see him run around.....

Today our baby is 10. I can't believe it has gone by so quickly.

We are very lucky to be blessed with Gavin.

He is a wonderful boy.

We love him no matter what!

Happy Birthday Gavin! We love you more than words can say!

Berg Park

With no school today, Gavin and I took a trip down to Berg park and rode our bikes.

The trees there seem to be saying that fall is coming too.

More Football

Nothing really happening around here, but school and football.

So another post on football.

Gavin's team is doing great. They lost today, but Gavin had a great TD.

Say It Ain't So

The tree in our front yard is informing us that it wants to change its colors. I'm trying to tell it that it is too soon.

One thing about summertime is the great thunderstorms we have. Gavin and I sat outside tonight and watched and listened to them for quite awhile.

This week the jr scorps had another great game. They won this one 20 to 0. Gavin scored 3 touchdowns.

First Game

Gavin's first football game was great. They played Bayfield and lost, but had fun. Gavin had some good tackles on D and a 20 yard run on offense. He did great!

Family Visit

My sister, nieces, and dad came to visit us this summer. We had a fun, relaxing time. We went to Aztec Ruins, walked around Durango, went to the river and water shoots at Berg Park, went four wheeling, swimming, played games and made s'mores at the fireplace. It was fun and we are glad they came for our last of the summer fun. (boo for school)

Camp Half Blood

This week Gavin has been taking some summer fun classes at the college. He has done "Survivor", greek mythology, and his favorite Camp Half Blood. They even had a half blood hill. The teacher was really nice and did lots of fun stuff, like capture the flag, bow and arrow practice, making a Medusa mask, and talking about the Percy Jackson books.

More Fun!

More beach fun (still cold). We went to a cool park with a castle and ate at Rain Forest Cafe. A long trip, but fun.

We are glad to be home again.
