Visit to So Cal

I took a trip to Cali this summer by myself.  Gavin was busy with work outs and wrestling.  Shane flew out for a couple days and drove back with me.  It was a nice relaxing vacation.  Heather celebrated her birthday.  Jenna made the volleyball team.  We did tons of shopping and chilled out at the beach.

4th of July

Nothing too exciting for the 4th.  We had a BBQ, made some ice cream and watched fire works.  Just a fun day with the family.

Arizona Family Reunion

This year we tried a Spencer family reunion before Kasey headed off to college.  Most of us were able to come.  We met at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Chuck's place in Vernon.  We had lots of fun reminiscing.  We took a long picnic four wheeler ride up to a summit.  Lots of dust and getting dirty, but really worth it.  It was fun to spend time with everyone.  We had a campfire with s'mores and volleyball playing.  So happy we got to get together with family.

Canadaian Bear Hunt

Shane and Gavin were able to travel to Saskatchewan and bear hunt.  They stayed at a great lodge and Gavin fell in love with their dog. They said it was beautiful country. Gavin was successful and able to kill a bear with his bow.

May was still a pretty cool month.  We didn't get heat until June.  We added to our flock of chickens, made cinnamon rolls, relexed (school was out) and went to Payton's graduation party.

Spring Activities

Feb = Gavin was invited to state again this year for wrestling. He did really well, but didn't place.  Goals for next year!

March = Elijah got his call for his mission to San Jaun, Costa Rica.  He will leave in June.  

April = Gavin also got his license.  He is legal to drive now.  Look out!

New Year 2016

So pretty much every Jan through April for the last 6 years, my life consists of taxes.  Not much time to do anything else during that time. But I try to still have a family life.
