Grandpa came out to visit us for a week. He got to see a couple of Gavin's football games. They ended up the season with a 6-2 record. The best so far. They lost out in first round play offs to a team they had beaten in the regular season. And the team that won the division lost only once during the season....to Gavin's team. Bummer. I had a few "daddy do" things for him to do. We had a good time just relaxing and visiting. We are always happy to have Grandpa come see us!

I love that picture of Dad and Gavin. Dad told me about the football games, and he seemed genuinely glad to be attending them. Dad has always had a heart for the family. Love the franken-towel peeking at the side of Dad's shorts while he hangs the mirror.
