Football Camp

This week Gavin had football camp. It was early but he was excited to go. The coaches taught them some skills, they had kicking and throwing contests and they played 7 on 7.

Father's Day

We had a very nice and relaxing Father's Day. After church we took the Sunday Nap.

Gavin and I made dinner and cookies for Shane.

Very yummy.

I asked Gavin to paint a picture of himself and he painted a Picaso like picture.

It turned out very cool.

Happy Father's day to all the dads.

Scout Camp

After our fun trip to Utah, Gavin came back to Scout Camp.

He wasn't too happy at first, but he did have lots of fun with his den and leader.

And he got to hang out with his friends.

Utah

This past week we took a trip to Utah. My sister was singing in the Tabernacle and we got a chance to go see her on Friday. They sounded just as good as the MoTab. During the day my nieces stayed with Gavin and me. We did some fun stuff and played around. I took them to Boondocks (one of Gavin's favorites). We went to This is the Place and panned for gold, took a train ride and heard some stories from old. We visited the Lehi Bakery (a few times), went to Sweet Tooth Fairy, a few In and Outs, Del Tacos, and Panda Express. The best part was visiting a my longtime friend Elise and her family. She came with us during the week and she invited us to a BBQ on Saturday. Catching up was wonderful. We crammed a lot into this week, but we had great times and memories. On the way home, Gavin and I stopped at Arches' national park in Moab. The nature made rocks were incredible.

Whew! Glad we are home until our next adventure.

School is out for summer!

School is over for the summer.

Hallelujah!

Gavin had a terrible year with his teacher.

He will hopefully recover this summer with fun activities.

After school let out I took him out to lunch and for some frozen yogurt.

Piano Recital

Tonight was Gavin's piano recital. He was not very excited, but did really well. He was glad that he had his cousins there too.

Birthday Wishes

I had lots of birthday wishes and goodies. It was a great 29th birthday again.

I came home to this on my driveway. Gavin had done it all by himself.

Sometimes your kids surprise you.

Growing time

It's that time again. Time to plant the flowers and vegetables. We have a much smaller garden this year and are trying it in a different place. I love to garden and watch the changes come over the plants. I must have gotten that from my dad. I remember watching him prepare the garden.

Spring Cleaning

Now that tax season is over I might find time to do projects around the house.

One thing that needed attention for a long time was cleaning out Gavin's closet.

There were too many clothes that didn't fit him anymore and no room to put everything.

Drawers wouldn't close and things fell off the shelf in the closet.

So today I tackled that project along with putting away winter clothes.

Hope I don't jinx mother nature.

We are definitely ready for summer!
