Easter

Here was our Easter. It was very cold here and Gavin wasn't feeling too well. So we colored eggs on Saturday and had an indoor hunt Sunday morning. Not too eggciting :)

Thankful Thursday

Not much happening here. But I thought I would mention some thankfulness. I just finished my book club book, "The Hiding Place" and after I cried some, I thought how unappreciative I am sometimes for what I have. Sometimes it takes books like these to remember what we have. So I am truly grateful for what I have; my home, my family, my health, and my country. I don't express this enough to Heavenly Father or my loved ones.

Home Sweet Home

We are back home again; happy and sad. We had a great time in California and miss our family and the weather. But we are glad to be home and see Shane and our family here. New adventures coming soon.

Day 6

Today we went to the Irvine Regional Park. It was great. They had lots to do. The kids went on a train, we fed the ducks, went to the zoo, and played at the park. It was 80 degrees and really nice weather. We had a blast.

Day 5

Today was another beach trip. It was a little colder, but the kids didn't mind. We walked the pier and ate at Ruby's.

Day 4

Today was very exciting for Gavin. Aunt Melissa, Gavin and I went shopping! I have to say Gavin was very good during this time. When the girls got out of school they played and we went to Rainforest Cafe for dinner. That was fun for them.

Gavin and I are doing to Spongebob's victory screech.

Later we made smores which they were excited about, so it made up for the shopping. Gavin is easy to please.

Day 3

We attempted to go to Disneyland today. We drove there, parked, waited in line for tickets, and then decided there were too many people there. I think all of southern Cal was there. So we ixnayed that and went to the beach. The kids had a blast and the adults sat in chairs and watched them have fun.

Day 2

Today was nice and relaxing. Gavin got outside, played with his cousins, and had fun. The weather has been really nice.

Cali

We arrived in California today and this is what Gavin did the first thing. We are waiting for the family to get home from church, but I thought it was funny after traveling in the car, he went to the computer first thing.

Spring is in the air

We looked out our window and what did we see, apricot blossoms popping on the tree. :) Looks like spring is coming. Can't wait!

Wrestling

It is wrestling time. Gavin's first tournament was in Bayfield and he took 2nd place. Yay! During his last match he got hit in the face and lost another tooth. The tooth fairy got him a PSP. (that was the male tooth fairy). He also got a hair cut. Looking stylish with his new do.

Sunset

I had to post this picture from Tuesday night's sunset. I notice my sister had one from CA too. I guess the sun is the same in NM as in CA, but somehow it was spectacular on Tuesday. The picture doesn't do it justice, though.
