Chocolate Molten Cakes

This Sunday dessert was a winner. Gavin and I made these cakes and devoured them.

Or at least I did.

We were just missing one ingredient(cookie), but they were still divine.

Good thing it was portion control. Here is the recipie.

Pumpkin Patch

Took a trip to Sutherland Farms with Gavin and a couple friends. The weather was good, but dark clouds were headed our way. Of course they wanted the biggest pumpkins, but they had to be able to carry them. After paying we borrowed the wagon to get them to the car.

More Fall

Is there a thing as too many fall pictures? That is like having too many shoes, right?

Not possible.

I love our tree out front (probably until it starts shedding). Gavin loves to collect the leaves.

Should I tell him to wait until they all fall?

A Walk in the Park

A walk in the park on a fall day.

Colors are just changing and the fall air is felt.

Dessert

I love fall desserts. Heck, I love any dessert. So when the evenings get cooler we turn the oven on and experiment. Gavin and I made dessert the other night. We tried these pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes. They were delicious. Shane hardly eats dessert so it is usually me and Gavin. But once in a while the next morning I see one missing even though he doesn't confess.

No more football

Last day of football. Gavin's team was in the playoffs but they lost today,

even though they played great!

They got put with the best team in the league.

Good job Jr. Scorps!

Fall is Here

The weather is getting cooler and the leaves are falling. Gavin and I collected some of the leaves from out front yard tree and decorated the inside of the house with leaves.

(The M&Ms in the background are purely for eating, but make a nice decor)

Halloween

Halloween has come to our house and deposited decorations all over. Overkill much?

10 Years Ago

Ten years ago we were blessed with a baby.....

Five years ago we got to see him run around.....

Today our baby is 10. I can't believe it has gone by so quickly.

We are very lucky to be blessed with Gavin.

He is a wonderful boy.

We love him no matter what!

Happy Birthday Gavin! We love you more than words can say!

Berg Park

With no school today, Gavin and I took a trip down to Berg park and rode our bikes.

The trees there seem to be saying that fall is coming too.

More Football

Nothing really happening around here, but school and football.

So another post on football.

Gavin's team is doing great. They lost today, but Gavin had a great TD.
