Trunk Or Treat

Last night was our ward halloween party and trunk or treating. I was busy helping out so I forgot to take pictures. Tammy was in charge of decorations and she did a great job! I got one of Gavin giving out candy. Hopefully on Halloween I'll take more.

Lake Havasu

Shane and Gavin went to Lake Havasu this weekend to meet up with his friend Eric and his family and the Carrolls. I sent the camera with him to take pictures and let me know what happened. This is the only picture I got back and it was from Gavin. He is showing me the hotel they stayed at in AZ on their way there. (Check out the gas prices) Anyway they had a blast. It was nice weather. I had a good time too. I was home by myself for a relaxing weekend and didn't do much of anything. I did happen to be online and somehow bought some shoes. I don't know how that happned.

Windy Saturday

We had a soccer game again today. They are fun to watch, but the dang wind was horrible. Shane got to be a ref for one of Gavin's, so he was excited.

I had to put this one in of Cory's game that we went to. They ended up loosing this game, but I think they got cheated. Cory scored twice, but they called his goals back. They played really well. Cory and Morgan's games are a little more exciting than Gavin's, but someday he'll be up there.

Hillarious

I had to show these. I think it is the funniest. The dogs went to the groomers for the first time and they came back looking like mini lions. The groomer said she had trouble with them because they would squirm so she couldn't finish their heads. Thanks a lot. I know they weren't very manly to start with, but now I have girly dogs. Gavin doesn't appreciate that.

Fall

I aboslutely love fall. The changes in temperature and the changes on the scenery. I love decorating for the holidays. It is the time of year that I don't mind clutter all over. I have too many decorations thanks to my many shopping trips to Utah (thanks Aunt Sammy). Too many to put them all out. I think I need a bigger house for all my junk. Gavin hasn't decided what to be for Halloween. He thinks he is too grown up :( We'll see

Gavin's Big #8 Day

Today is Gavin's birthday and he turned 8. I can't believe it. He is getting too big. I told him to stay 7 forever, but he told me he couldn't. Oh well. It goes by too fast! I took pizza and brownies to his class at school. Gavin went on a field trip today too and thought that was a cool thing to do on his birthday.

To The Cabin

We took a trip to the cabin this weekend. It was very fun and pretty. We went fishing, site seeing and bike riding.

It is crazy that the deer come and sit right in front of the cabin. (it is laying down by the tree)

We rode our bikes to the store.

Grandpa's visit

Grandpa came to visit us this week. We didn't do anything special, just hung out. It is great he can come visit us and we look forward to it everytime.

Hunting/Camping

We went up to Colorado this weekend. Shane and Gavin went hunting and I went for the camping. Although it was very cold at night. We brought the rugrats and they had fun. It was a relaxing weekend for us.

Soccer Time

Gavin has started soccer games. He is very competitive as you can tell in the picture. I think he gets it from watching his cousins.

Utah Trip

Gavin and I took a trip to see Aunt Sammy and we picked up our new dogs. Not positive on the names yet. We had fun with Aunt Sammy. Her garden looks great. Her dog, Max had fun with the puppies too!
